Harsh and I finally completed our revamped presentation on evaluating websites and submitted a post for the main blog. We learned how to create presentations with visual appeal. We aimed to limit the amount of information on each slide by distributing it over many slides. We also added pictures that creatively expresses the questions one should ask when evaluating a site.
For our ILE, Harsh and I decided to take a step back on Appgyver and decided to work on making a web application first and then move it over to Steroids.js. After doing some research on web development, I came up with two web development frameworks: Bootstrap and Foundation. We plan to use Bootstrap to layout the foundation for our site as it has more resources and a larger community than Foundation. Bootstrap is a powerful web development framework that can rapidly generate fully functional sites that work for any device. Hopefully, we can make a basic design of the site by the end of next week. After making the design, we will need to populate the site automatically with data through a mySQL database.
